Blossom Gulch is located in the western foothills of the Coast Range 10 miles southeast of Coos Bay, Oregon. Close enough to the ocean to benefit from the moderate coastal climate but far enough to be out of the summer fog.

For us, providing quality dahlia stock is a natural extension of our commitment to these beautiful plants. As hybridizers and exhibitors our efforts to grow dahlias to their maximum potential has been rewarding. Providing superior tubers to our customers is an endeavor we take seriously. Some excellent dahlia varieties have been known to decrease in vigor over time. This 'slippage' can be halted by carefully selecting the plants from which tubers are collected. It would be a shame if we allowed these great varieties to simply go away. We are excited to be building stock of some outstanding dahlia varieties.

Doing well at the shows or watching another do well with stock we provided is fun and gratifying but raising brand new varieties is something else again. Witnessing an exceptionally beautiful bloom present itself to the world for the first time can be breathtaking. If you think that you may enjoy that experience we highly recommend it. Just 'messing around' with a few seeds can be a lot of fun and needn't take too much time or space. Have a go!
